BRUSHING AND FLOSSING INSTRUCTIONS
Brushing Instructions
Step 1: Angle your toothbrush at a 45 degree angle towards the braces (between the gum and the braces)
Step 2: Brush gently in a circular motion
Step 3: Continue along the arch
Step 4: Angle your toothbrush at a 45 degree angle now between the braces and the chewing edge of your teeth
Step 5: Continue in circles and along the arch
Step 6: Don’t forget to brush the chewing surfaces and the inner surface of your teeth
Flossing Instructions
Step 1: Take a piece of floss about 18 inches long and put through the end of the floss threader. Alternately, “Superfloss” is available and you may find it helpful. Put pointy end of floss threader underneath the wire, between the brackets
Step 2: Gently floss around the braces
Step 3: Gently floss the gum area
Step 4: Pull the floss through and continue to next set of teeth
